Pet Friendly Accommodation

Pets of all shapes and sizes are welcome to join their owners at our pet friendly farm. Six fully self contained cottages suitable for couples and families feature large fenced garden areas to 1.5m high.

The fenced area extends from the shady verandah and allows you a safe area to leave your pets if you wish to go out without them.

Even your horse is welcome. You may ride your horse throughout the farm and there are riding trails nearby. Just ask for more information about these.

Information for Dog Owners

We welcome you and your dog to Redgate Farmstay! We would like to draw your attention to a couple of things to ensure we maintain our high standard of tidiness and safety, and also for the well being of your dog.
Please keep your dog under control at all times, particularly around the farm animals and children. We would ask that you keep your dog on a leash at all times around the 'home' paddock as the ducks and chooks free range and they are not happy when chased by a dog; and young children, if present in the other cottage, are often frightened by strange dogs. You are welcome to exercise your dog off a lead when in the paddocks. Access is via the gate on the right of the farm shed. We recommend you use the gates, as the fences are often electric.

Please keep your dog on the lead
Matthew and Michael with dogs Beaumont and
Mozart on their leads around the cottages

Do not allow your dog to stray from our property as neighbouring farmers may take strict action.
There is a good walk track through the bush to the east of our property. Access by heading down Redgate Road towards Witchcliffe.
A dog beach is located at Gnarabup Beach to the right of the boat ramp for 200m. Please ask for directions. The majority of our coastline falls within National Parks and it is therefore an offence to take dogs into these areas even in the car. On the spot fines can be issued by the ranger for $100.
In order to maintain our grounds we would ask that you clean up any mess that your dog leaves behind whilst out walking.

Enjoy walks in the forest adjacent to the farm

We trust that you will respect these guidelines so that we can continue to offer a holiday place for you and your four legged friends.

  Beaumont (20.11.89 - 19.8.04)

Sadly we fairwelled our beloved Beaumont in August after being a part of our family for almost 15 years. Many of our previous guests will remember him fondly. He was just a pup when he joined our family and was around even before we had our 2 boys, Matthew and Michael. We miss him very much. He was a great ambassador for the farmstay and leaves a legacy in all he taught to Mozart.
